Seven Minutes 'til Midnight (The Rock Gods Collection Book 3) Kindle Edition
Next thing I knew, my anonymity was a thing of the past.
“Clown Irruption’s smash hit goes from hawt to adult!”— Star Report, April Edition.
The uncensored, all-bared footage was leaked.
And here I was, forced to stare down the same paparazzi lenses the band did.
“Meet Aishe Xodyar, the vixen who made Troy Armstrong reach Heaven on tape!”—Fan Chicks, May Edition.
I cowered behind enemy lines.
Aka joined the band on their worldwide arena tour.
It was another one of my unfortunate miscalculations.
See, Troy Armstrong was formidable.
We were polar opposites, but he still sucked me in like a magnet.
A fragile truce set in between us. Then, a mutual crush.
I had an obsessive nature, but my fixation on him was downright wholesome compared to their new merch girl’s.
“Meet Hailey Pawter, secret stalker, fangirl, and dangerously gifted lookalike.”—Tabloid Minute, June Edition.
As Hailey’s web tightened around us, love in the limelight turned from complicated to impossible.
Seven Minutes 'til Midnight is novel #3 in the Rock Gods collection. The books can be read separately from another.

About the author

Sunniva Dee is a USA Today and Amazon top 100 bestselling author with an eclectic taste in books. Born and raised in Norway, Sunniva lived in the United States for 17 years before returning to the mothership. She currently dwells at the midst of a glittering Nordic winter, where she sucks inspiration from trolls and barn gnomes and cold little mermaids popping their heads out of the fjords. Oh, and Spotify. Always Spotify.
Sunniva dabbles in literary romance, romantic comedy, contemporary romance, young adult fiction, new adult fiction, dark romance, and paranormal. Unlike some authors, she was not raised by fairies, and unlike others, she’s not also a musician. But she boasts a ridiculous sense of humor and an obsession with furry mammals, both evident in the #1 bestseller, the rom-com LOVE BY PRANKS. First of all, FINALLY, a villain I could hate! I've read so many books where the "villain" was almost as likeable as the main characters, and it's frustrating for a jaded ol' romance reader like me. But THIS villain, yessssss...it was the perfect balance of "she did NOT just do that!" and "Oh she TOTALLY got what she deserved!"
I met Aishe and Troy in a previous book ("In The Absence of You", and while I don't think it's absolutely necessary to have read it before this one, I do recommend it...you'll get a better feeling of the state of affairs among the key players that way.)
Tory knew exactly what, and who, he wanted, and it was Aishe. I enjoyed his pursuit, and her responding "whoa, slow down there, fella" made for some interesting interactions between them.
But, all in all, Sunniva did it yet again; an exceptional job of weaving emotions, steamy-smoking-hotness, low-stress suspense and a very happy ending that left me craving her next book!
Have to say that I think I would have enjoyed the story even more if I'd read the first two books first. There are situations referenced that I didn't know about and felt like I was missing out on something. I will be going back to check them out so I can get all the member's HEA.

Ok, I think I’m good now. Have you ever experienced that feeling of complete weightlessness, like every bit of air in your lungs has left them leaving you suspended in time? That feeling of floating, not knowing where your next breath is coming from and all time stands still? Yep, I didn’t think I’d ever experience that in my lifetime either, however, following Seven Minutes ‘till Midnight that’s how I felt. I, very cautiously put my kindle down (despite me wanting to throw it repeatedly) and just absorbed everything I have read. OMG, y’all, this book is EVERYTHING!!
I never knew that I needed a ‘Troy’ in my life, but I immediately want to put my order in for one of my very own. From his tri-colored dreads to his passion in playing the drums, I need everything about this man!
Troy Armstrong is a mountain of man. He is tortured yet is epically sweet with a beautiful soul. There is so much understanding and love behind the intensity of those safari green eyes. Eyes that are luminescent and make a person feel as if he is probing your soul. Troy is kind and dedicated about his endeavors. One of which is his drumming.
Aishe Xodyar is a mid-20’s gypsy girl, who was the ‘merch girl’ for Clown Irruption the previous summer and has made friends with the band and their wives/girlfriends. She is a spitfire and will dole out the verbal lashings and comebacks before you can blink. Despite being this outgoing girl with a fiery personality, she isn’t very keen on having the attention on her. Aishe has left her gypsy family to come to America. She believes in her gypsy heritage and customs immensely and hopes that she has outrun some of them in the US. (This becomes an important concept between Aishe and Troy).
I am always in awe at the worlds and storylines that Sunniva creates. She has a way of creating deeply thought out fictional stories that suck you in. I don’t know how she does it, but it is a breath of fresh air. Her ability to create characters that are rich, full-bodied and in tune with multiple cultural/social/ethnic diversities is stunning and completely out of this world. I always leave learning a little bit more about our world!
Here’s the difference between a Sunniva book and others. A good book sucks you into that fantasy world, making you a part of it instead of a spectator. An excellent book not only pulls you into the story and makes you a part of this experience, it also leaves you learning a thing or two and truly thinking about sociological issues with society. Ms. Dee has taken this concept and upped it by 20 times. Her storylines are that good!!
Sunniva is not only a ‘thinking’ author with storylines to match, but her technical writing is on point. Throughout her books, she fully embraces her characters and their back story. She is completely thorough, and it shows that she has researched whatever character has as a job, beliefs or customs, both national and internationally. As a former percussionist, I appreciated reading about flam-taps to triplets to single and double paradiddles! It brings back my playing days and I fully drummed along with Troy and I could empathize with his need to drum along his thigh, table or chair. That was me too. It still is. Y’all should see me driving while drumming my fingers.
Now, without a doubt, hands down, do yourself a favor and pick up any of Sunniva Dee’s books, especially ‘Seven Minutes ‘till Midnight’. She will leave you aching, blown away and yearning for more. Sunniva is a Mistress of Words and a genius with her writing. She is a profound, technical professional in assembling these thoughts, concept and beliefs into an extraordinarily well-read book.

I have been eagerly anticipating this release, waiting to see how Sunniva Dee was going to fix this crazy mess that was Troy and Aishe! (whilst this is a stand alone, the previous books In the Absence of You, and Indescretions of a God provide a whole lot of backstory for this couple and can only enhance the story)
Troy seriously needs to redeem himself after his earlier actions. In this story he has been thrown back together with Aishe in the fallout after the leaked footage from the music video. The chemistry is tangible and powerful and you can feel the pull of Troy and Aishe pulling back together. Unfortunately there is always another obstacle to overcome: Hailey is the new merch girl, and her obsession is dangerous. Think Single White Female (film). She made my skin itch and you could feel the animosity building to a climax.
I thoroughly enjoyed this book, the drama, the romance and the final outcome. Another fabulous read from Sunniva Dee.

Whether you have read the other books in this series or not, the connection and electricity beaming off the pages between Troy and Aishe is undeniable as you navigate your way through the story. Their moments are heavy. They leave you breathless as you understand their past that led them to where they are now. Guilt and regret haunt Troy and Aishe as they both try everything to avoid the very thing that’s pulling them together. I can never give a full synopsis in my reviews when it comes to this author’s books, as there is no way to accurately depict a fraction of this story. It’s deep. The words speak volumes. In every book that she writes, there is a message. A message she wants her readers to take to heart. And I heard this one loudly through her characters. Love resounds. Always. While I cannot put into words everything that this book is about, I can speak on this book forever on just how it made me feel.
Troy. Oh how I love you. Let me count the ways. I was absolutely blown away by his love for Aishe. He never tells you of his love, he made you feel it. The ferocity of his love is demonstrated in his words and actions. His love protects. He loves with conviction and purpose. His love battled demons. The ones they faced individually and the ones they faced together as one. His commitment to love had no boundaries. But the past and other circumstances strive to keep them apart. I was absolutely enamored by this book. This book MOVES you down to the very depths of your heart. You feel every push and pull between Troy and Aishe. I am still breathless over this book! With a gripping storyline and magnetic characters, if there is one rock star book you read this year, let it be this one!
Her words. HER WORDS IN THIS BOOK. This is what the author is known for. There are authors and there are WRITERS. And this book solidified the fact for me that she is a writer. The writing is really what made the story for me. Sunniva Dee writes with such precision. Every word of her book is integral to the storyline. You hang on to every word. She is a true master as she crafts easily one of the best love stories I’ve read in a really long time. Her words paint the plot, while the characters give her words LIFE. Powerful and consuming, this character driven story was absolutely stimulating. The rigor in her writing is demonstrated in her ability to easily incorporate a diverse set of characters in a storyline that keeps you completely engaged from beginning to end. Rich in thought, beautiful in it’s execution, Seven Minutes ‘til Midnight was definitely one of my favorite reads this year.

Their history is based on friendship, mistakes and how they were handled from both sides. Aishe is hunted by them and Troy is feeling guilty but they both have so much love for one another. How do they bridge that gap when there’s distrust and hurt feelings between them. Not to mention the Love Fire which is fueling Aishe and her emotions.
Seven Minutes ‘til Midnight was an entertaining and wonderful story of love, obsession and friendship. I already knew Troy was special since I’ve read the 2 books he and Aishe appeared in but here he claimed a part of my heart. I think I got a little Love Fire inside too cause Troy was so yummy. All man! In his appearance and his actions. His love for Aishe was everywhere in this book.
Aishe is an incredible and beautiful Gypsy woman who has captured Troy’s heart but he has most definitely also captured and claimed hers. What made her hesitate and afraid was the Love Fire and the repercussions of it. I felt for her and I understood her hesitation but how they slowly found their way back to one another was written with so much emotion. Just them lying together in bed was deliciously written. I could feel the love and passion between them but most of all the respect and patience from Troy who just wanted to do right by Aishe and erase past mistakes. Here they both stepped up and surprised each other and me.
Their way back to one another wasn’t easy thanks to a girl who worked for the band. It’s been awhile since I’ve been this pissed off because of a character but that goes to show how poignant Sunniva Dee’s writing and storytelling is. I was invested heart and soul in Troy and Aishe’s story and what a fabulous story Seven Minutes ‘til Midnight was. I want my own sexy drummer.
