Job description

TECNALIA Research & Innovation is willing to strengthen its activity in the field of Inorganic Membranes. We are looking for an experienced, skilled and highly motivated Project Manager with expertise in chemical process design and membrane modelling.

The successful applicant will collaborate with a highly qualified and multidisciplinary team of researchers

Job description:

Being part of the Membrane Technology team, will be in charge of Project Management (reporting, relation with customers, relation with partners and granting bodies). Moreover, as part of the technical activities in the projects, the person chosen will be in charge of process design and membrane modelling.

Main Activities:

  • EU and private project contracting and management
  • Customer relation management during project proposal and execution
  • Membrane based process design and optimization
  • Coordination with membrane development team to orient customer needs to membrane requirements

Requirements

 

Requirements:

  • A recognized PhD in Chemical or Environmental Engineering - or similar industry experience.
  • >5-year experience in chemical process design and modelling related to separation technologies, more precisely membrane technology.
  • Experience in project management (EU-H2020 and private)
  • Experience in Research Centres/Industries is welcome.
  • Good planning and management skills.
