Here at Redemptorist Publications we have decided to keep Fr Denis McBride's one-hour video, The Stations of the Cross Then and Now, as a permanent free resource for streaming, for everyone.

We believe that The Stations of the Cross will continue to be a pastoral resource for reflection and prayer during this prolonged time of Coronavirus where so many individuals and families are walking their own Via Dolorosa, the Way of Sorrows. The way of the cross passes through every village, town and city and is not limited to the season of Lent.

In this one hour video the voice and visuals open up new ways of thinking about Jesus’ journey and demonstrate how the passion story, in all its savagery, continues in our own time. The Gospel best comes alive when the story of Jesus resonates deeply within our heart and our personal experience. This is a pastoral resource for all time.

Due to unprecedented demand the fourteen Stations of the Cross have now been adapted for public use. In this DVD of the book, presented by Denis McBride, the voice and visuals open up new ways of thinking about Jesus’ journey.

Fr Denis McBride C.Ss.R. reflectively guides us along the way of the cross. He contrasts the beauty and solemn simplicity of the more traditional Stations by artist Curd Lessig with modern images that challenge us to link Jesus’ story to the struggle of our everyday life.

The audio book read by Denis McBride and broadcaster Julie Etchingham contains the full text of the book and is accompanied by an illustrated booklet, containing all the pictures.

It includes:
• The full book
• The unabridged audiobook
• The image A5 booklet

Stations of the Resurrection is a growing contemporary devotional, spiritual and liturgical practice. Encompassing both public worship and private prayer, this book travels with the reader from the sealed tomb to Pentecost through sixteen biblical episodes.

A popular favourite for all who will delight at the simple yet thought-provoking meditations for today's woman. The fourteen Stations of the Cross are all accompanied by a stirring photograph of a woman - this book is ideal for women of all ages to quietly reflect on the sacrifice of Jesus.
