The Stroke Riskometer™ is a unique and easy to use tool for assessing your individual risk of a stroke in the next five or ten years and what you can do to reduce the risk.

The app can also give you an indication of your risk of heart attack, dementia, and diabetes.

The app project already involves over 300 renowned stroke experts from 102 countries, making it the largest international collaborative mobile health project in the world.

The app is free of charge and available in 26 languages, meaning it is now available for 70% of the world's population (5.3 billion people). It is available from the App Store, or Google Play.

In 2014, out of 100,000+ health-related apps, the Stroke Riskometer™ app was selected by leading doctors as a top health app worldwide (number 1 app in Medical Conditions category for iOS). The app won based on its medical accuracy, its utility in supporting health or healthy living goals, and usability.

In 2014, the Stroke Riskometer™ was a finalist for the New Zealand Innovators Award, in the category Innovation in Health & Science.

In 2022, Valery Feigin was one of the 29 winners of the WHO (World Health Organization) Western Pacific Innovation Challenge for the work entitled “Digital solutions for primary stroke and CVD prevention”. This work was selected from over 400 applications entered to the first WHO Western Pacific Innovation Challenge. It reflects his work on the Stroke Riskometer app for lay people and the PreventS-MD webapp for health professionals that are being offered for implementation across the globe.
