Virtual Open Evenings
At NUAST we aim to make the transition from Year 6 to Year 7 as smooth as possible and give every child and parent/carer confidence that the change will be a happy and successful one.
We invite you to join us for our online open evening. This year we have taken the decision to hold our open evening online in place of our usual open evenings held in school, due to the current COVID-19 restrictions.
In the videos below we have a presentation by our Pastoral Assistant Headteacher Rob Tapp, This presentation covers our school ethos and vision, Covid 19 arrangements, curriculum, admissions, school day, rules, house system, ATL, Pastoral system, rewards, travel, school calendar and much more.
The walkthrough video of our school should give you an idea of our classrooms, outdoor space and specialist equipment we have available for students.
The taster session videos are available to offer you an insight into the content and activities that might be covered in the following subject areas.
Our student voice will give you an insight into a day at NUAST through the eyes of our students.
We are still trying to perfect our virtual open evenings. If you would like to feedback on how you found our online year 7 event please click here.
