Following its premiere at Brighton Fringe Festival in. May, this intriguing new experimental play will be coming to Lewes. Written by LLL's Artistic Director Mark C. Hewitt, with music by Norwegian percussionist Thomas Strønen and performed by 4 actresses all from different countries, the work has no plot or characters in the conventional sense, but a clearly defined structure related to the four conventions: Wounded & Sick / Maritime / Prisoners of War / Civilians.

Tormenta Flamenca

"Flamenca/Flamenco"

Authentic flamenco returns to Lewes with this new show from Tormenta Flamenca (Flamenco Storm). Choreographer / dancer Ana Dueñas León will be joined by singer Inma Montero, guitarist Ramón Ruiz and percussionist Antoñio Romero, to explore the female and male impulses in Flamenco.

Poetry Small Group Seminars

Led by Mimi Khalvati.

A popular course of holistic poetry seminars with the emphasis on continuity and developing work in progress. The next season of workshops begins on Saturday 9th March and continues 13th April and 11th May.

Mimi's courses are aimed at experienced poets and are frequently oversubscribed. Poets interested should contact LLL direct.
