The main requirement for joining IYFR is an active interest in boating (ownership of a boat is not required). Once reserved to Rotarians, Rotaractors and their Partners, the Fellowship is now open to any adult applicant that has a good reputation and is willing to abide by the Rotary Four Way Test and the Rotary Code of Conduct. IYFORIANS are gathered into Fleets, Regions and Areas. Local Fleets are located worldwide; if there is not a local Fleet in the Region/Country of his, the applicant can request to temporary join the world E-Fleet
