We are available for you at reception from 8:00-11:00 and 16:00-18:00.
Breakfast is always included and prepared for you from Monday to Friday from 7:30-9:30 and on weekends and public holidays from 8:00-10:00.
Check-in is from 8:00 to 11:00 and 16:00 to 18:00.
Check-out is until 10:00 am.

Travel cancellation insurance?
We know from experience that despite all the anticipation of the booked stay, something can always come up at short notice i.e. severe weather, or public transport strike. To avoid costs and hassle, we recommend that you take out hotel cancellation insurance with Europäische Reiserversicherung.
Haus St. Benedikt is located in the heart of Salzburg’s old town, right next to the Festspielhaus, just a few minutes’ walk from all the attractions such as Mozart’s birthplace, the fortress, the Residenz or the cathedral.
By car:
Our hotel does not have a car park. If you arrive by car, we therefore recommend parking in the Mönchsberggarage (=Altstadtgarage Mitte Parkhaus B, Hildmannplatz 1, 5020 Salzburg). From there, choose the exit “Festspielhäuser” and you will come out of the garage right next to our house. You get a 30% discount ticket with check-out at the reception.

By train or bus:
The best way to reach us from the railway station is by bus no. 1.
The best way to reach us from the airport is by bus no. 10
(on Sundays and public holidays also bus lines 2+1).
The following applies to both:
Get off at “Herbert-v.-Karajan-Platz”. Walk towards the fortress, along the Festspielhaus, then turn right into Toscaninihof and left into the inner courtyard. You will find our entrance in the left-hand corner.
Neighbourhood.
Haus St. Benedikt is ideally located, just a stone’s throw away from Salzburg’s cultural treasures and vibrant life. You will find the Festival Hall, St. Peter’s Abbey, Mozart’s birthplace, the cathedral or the fortress in our immediate vicinity. Explore cobbled alleyways that lead you to UNESCO World Heritage Sites, immerse yourself in the melodies of Mozart that still linger in the air and savour the delicacies of Austrian cuisine.
