Look Forward to the 2024 Belsay International and Banish Those Winter Blues!
We are in full on organisation mode here at Belsay and getting everything in place to deliver you another week of outstanding equestrian competition!
This year our feature competitions will once again be the prestigious Junior and Pony Championships and we will also be hosting CCI1* Intro, CCI2*-S, CCI2*-L and CCI3*-S. We have the full gamut of national classes from BE90 to Open Intermediate and new for 2024 is a Novice Masters section and both the Howden Way 6yo and 7yo classes.
A huge success over the past two years, we are now extending the Northumberland Challenge to cover the BE100 classes at Belsay, Alnwick Ford and Burgham Horse Trials as well as the CCI3*-S and the CCI2*-S international fixtures with a massive total prize pot of over £60, 000!
As always there is a host of other equine attractions on offer this year, with the NSEA competition, the BSPS Working Hunter Pony Show, Arena Eventing and the infamous Belsay Inter Hunt Relay. The popular Belsay Dog Show will be back with classes for everyone and there will be fun rides, archery and shopping and food options galore with our wonderful array of trade stands. We cannot wait!
The action kicks off here on Wednesday 29th May 2024 with First Horse Inspection for the long-format competitions in front of the stunning Belsay Hall. British Eventing Entries open on 22nd April and public tickets are available. Our schedule is now live on British Eventing. Stay tuned for news and updates!
