For the first time in Stafford history, a driver has won 5 consecutive SK Light Modified features. Tyler Chapman won the resumption race from Opening Day, then used a last lap pass to win the 20-lap feature that capped off Friday's action. Chapman started the second feature 15th.
Chris Matthews wound up on the podium for both SK Light Modified features on Friday. He finished 3rd in the resumption feature from Opening Day, while finishing 2nd in the 20-lapper after leading several laps.
Brian Sullivan ran out of time in the resumption SK Light Modified feature from Opening Day, finishing 2nd in that race. He then finished 3rd in the 20-lap contest later that night, giving him 3 podiums in 3 races.
