My Rating:

4.5

Favorite Quotes:

I wasn’t sure what constituted the downstairs of this hotel, but it couldn’t be worse than working 130 feet underground in a wine cave. Besides, if I worked any further down, Satan would be my officemate.

There are places where even an alcoholic would rather be sober than set foot into because the bar floor was so sticky that they’d probably lose a shoe before they gained a buzz, and the Long Beach Club Roar was that place. It was the classic dive bar down to the $ 1 Busch beer and the local favorite, Milk of Amnesia—a combo of Fireball, rum, and milk.

I stick out like a neon sign in Amish country…

“Once a month, we tell our husbands or significant others that we have”— she raised her hands in the air and made finger quotes—“ book club.” She quickly scanned Club Roar as if she was looking for someone. “Only we’ve been reading the same book now for a year.”

My Review:

I enjoyed the feisty characters and snappy wit I found during this lively yet easy to follow story. Written in my favorite dual POV, the genre seemed mostly women’s fiction with a delightful blend of wry humor and interesting storylines involving witness protection, a murder mystery, and a developing sweet and steamy romance. The characters were strong and sassy women who could hold their own while also quirky and endearing. Ms. Billiter’s writing was pleasantly engaging, well-plotted, briskly paced, and held my attention while putting a frequent smile on my face.

The Changeup is the sixth book in the Resort Romance Series by Mary Billiter. It is a bit of a whodunnit mystery with romance, suspense, and intrigue. It can be read as a standalone, but the rest of the series is also really great, so you would be missing out by not reading them all and getting the full experience.
I have been really enjoying this series, so I was really pleased to get my hands on this book and see what Ms. Billiter had in store for us this time. Once again this Ms. Billiter gives us something a bit different from the other books in the series. This book definitely has its own identity, flavour and tone- but still blends in well as part of the overall series. I liked that this was a mystery with a whodunnit feel to it, and the mystery itself was quite intriguing.
Rebel Roberts is the conference services manager at the Point Resort in Long Beach. But, her whole life is a cover- as she’s been placed in Witness protection by the FBI. Rebel’s meant to be keeping a low profile, so the last thing she needs is to stumble across a dead body. She can’t bring that kind of scrutiny on herself, because that may blow her cover completely. What will she do?
Ryan McHenry is known around these parts as McCutie. The former college ball player is now training to be a deputy sheriff, while working part-time delivering office supplies. Chance has him on the scene as they stumble across the body. Contrary to his better judgement he finds himself agreeing to help her. What ensues makes for some very entertaining reading as we follow along on this investigation and try to get to the bottom of it all.
This book was a great read, but it did feel a little rushed at times, especially towards the end.
The characters are great, especially Ryan (and his father). I did like Rebel, but she really frustrated me at times with her choices.
The story is told from a duel POV which gives us a really balanced perspective.
I am looking forward to Ms. Billiter’s next book!

Thank you, Ms. Billiter!

The Changeup (Resort Romance #6) by Mary Billiter was a light hearted, mystery filled, cheesy romance, that had me hooked.

Not my first read by this author or in this series, as in I have read every book in this amazing series and when I seen this one I quickly snached it up. Every book reads as a standalone so this is a series you can read out of order. There isn't much of overlapping in past characters, the only connection, really is the hotel chain. So no worries about spoilers.

I will say that the towards the end the mystery got a little slow and choppy. As something that was a driving plot point, and as something that added a nice intensity to the plot, as things seemed to be winding up, it dropped. There was a time skip and everything just concluded itself. I don't know if it was done to keep the page count down, but I feel like I was jipped on something that could have been phenomenal.

Outside of that, I very much liked this story, it was a good addition to this growing series. It has all the elements I love from the other books, with a little, added slower burn romance, then I have seen so far. Our female MC isn't your average woman, and that darkness in her past adds that extra layer, making the romance that much more special. Almost right away we get to see both our MC's true colours, and that in itself adds a much needed layer to this already interconnecting series.

Overall this was a very enjoyable read, it hits lots of good points, solid writing, witty dialogue, great MC's and supporting characters. I hope to see more from this series. So please take my super high recommendation and stamp of approval that you will get lost in this unique gritty love story that will leave you wanting more.

Happy Reading

4 Star Review The Changeup (Resort Romance #6) by Mary Billiter

Mary Billiter is a new author to me and although book 6 in the series, I had no issues reading this as a stand alone.

What's not to love about a hot deputy and a woman who is in the Witness Protection program? The premise intrigued me and I was interested to see how the story panned out. This was more of a suspense than romance read, but the plot was good although a tad predictable.

When Rebel Roberts accidentally stumbles upon a murdered man, complications arise. As she is in Witness Protection program the last things she can afford is to be involved in any publicity, least of all discovering a body.

Ryan McHenry is training to be a deputy sheriff and works part time delivering office supplies to one of his many customers which includes the resort.

Thanks to a few coincidences, Ryan is with Rebel when they stumble upon the body and against his better judgement he decides to help her. Ryan and Rebel are attracted to one another and their chemistry is intense. I liked both Ryan and Rebel and the supporting secondary characters were also easy to relate too.

I felt that the story was a little rushed, particularly the ending and would have liked if there had been more development.I also felt that there was a bit of a conflict between the suspense versus the romance components of the story as there seemed to be at odds with each other.

All in all I enjoyed the story and the writing was good.

In The Changeup, Mary Billiter gives her readers a sweet romance and a cozy mystery.

The office staff in the Point Resort refers to the delivery guy as McCutie.  The hunk’s real name is Ryan McHenry., a one-time baseball player and police academy applicant. I really liked Ryan and his dad as well.  Both are down-to-earth, kind and generous.  They are stand-up, ethical guys.  There was just enough backstory on Ryan; much of his character was conveyed through his actions. The title seems to be a nod to Ryan’s college baseball career.

Rebel Roberts is obviously intelligent (she could be a forensic accountant!), and as a whistle-blower, she has put herself in danger for a greater good. However, her current behavior made it difficult to like her. She puts herself in dangerous situations by drinking to inebriation every time she goes out, and her resultant behavior is rather crass.   She is a bit of a chameleon as she changes her behavior to fit the people she is with; that is probably a characteristic that comes in handy when you're in the witness protection program.

The secondary characters are comprised mainly of Rebel’s staff and Ryan’s family and friends.  Rebel’s staff is a crazy group of friendly coworkers who contribute greatly to Rebel’s debauchery, but they also have her back at work.

The story is told from the dual points of view of Ryan and Rebel. The plot is well paced with the exception of the accounting and police procedure descriptions that are provided as part of Ryan and Rebel’s sleuthing through the multiple mysteries in the story thread.  I found the mysteries engaging, and I really enjoyed the addition of Ryan's father; he is the sort of father that everyone wants. The story vibe is more cozy mystery than police procedural. The book can be read as a standalone even though it is part of a series. Overall, I enjoyed The Changeup as a light easy escape, and I think cozy mystery enthusiasts will as well.

Let’s be real. What exactly drew me towards this book? Hot deputy. Woman in Witness Protection. That’s it. I was sold. For those of you who don’t know, I have a wicked obsession with all things true crime (books, tv shows, movies, podcasts, etc). Therefore, the idea of a deputy falling for a woman he’s protecting … insta-swoon in my book. All that being said, the book felt more mystery with a sprinkle of romance.

Rebel can be crass and some might say kooky with her penchant for danger, but besides that she is intelligent and brave. Deciding to be a whistle-blower isn’t an easy decision, especially when doing so puts your life in danger. Even though the risk of talking put her in danger, she was comfortable with her choice knowing that it was the right thing to do. In the midst of all the chaos and danger around her, she couldn’t help but fall for the deputy in training.

Ryan is a down-to-earth and has a kind heart that will cause many people to swoon over him. He has been working his booty off being a deputy in training, trying so hard to prove himself. He may not always be a man of many words, but his actions are worth so much and really give you a glimpse into his character. His luck was in the right place when he met Rebel, but soon stumbling upon a dead body throws a wrench into their romance. There are so many lies between them from the get go, but as things unfold they find love within the chaos.

From the get go Rebel and Ryan have an undeniable chemistry. Once they find a dead body, the romance kind of simmers out a little bit. That being said my romantic feelings would simmer out a little bit with a dead body present. As they investigate their connection deepens and they have this sweet romantic feeling to them. The two of them made sense together, and they fit perfectly.

The pacing of the mystery felt rushed to me. I wanted to see it intricately unfold slowly and then slap me in the face with the reality of what had been going on. The evidence they found were breezed through so quickly that I didn’t get a grasp of exactly how they tied into the mystery. With as many pages as there were in the book, I would have liked it more if the plot had slowed down a bit so that more of the details of the story could pull through.

Ryan and Rebel together were a breath of fresh air surrounded in darkness. They took their untimely meeting and ran with it. There was every reason available to deter them from one another, but instead it pushed them closer together. Despite the heaviness that surrounded them, their love was a light and easy escape.

The Changeup (A Resort Romance Novel Book 6)
By: Mary Billiter
5 out of 5 stars

The story The Changeup (A Resort Romance Novel Book 6) by Mary Billiter is an action/mystery/romance book. It is a story that hooked me in from the very first chapter and I didn’t want to put it down until I had finished the last page. It has questions that are raised and need to be investigated/answered. I found myself trying to put together the clues like a puzzle. I loved reading about the characters of Rebel Roberts and Ryan McHenry. Rebel is a woman who is part of the Witness Protection Program. She has to be kept safe so that she can testify. She finds herself with a job at the Point Resort in Long Beach, CA. She also finds herself very attracted to Ryan. Ryan is a man that wants to become a deputy sheriff. There were officers in his family and that is what his goal is. He soon finds himself in the middle of an investigation that starts when he and Rebel find a dead body. They begin a search for the truth behind the death. Both Rebel and Ryan have an attraction to each other. While Rebel knows it is not a good idea for her to become involved with Ryan her heart is telling her otherwise. There is energy when they kiss and a passion for each other. Will these two find out the reason behind the body that they find? Will they give into their emotions and feelings for each other? Will they get a chance at happiness? What would happen if Ryan finds out the secret that Rebel protects? Read this book to find out. I enjoyed reading about how Ryan and Rebel banter back and forth with each other. I also enjoyed reading about the other characters that they interact with and the part that each one plays in the story. This is a wonderfully written book that I would highly recommend reading. This is a series that I have loved since I read the first book and I also suggest reading the first five stories.

The Changeup is old school whodunit sprinkled with romance. Rebel is in WItness Protection, waiting until the day she can testify and be done with that dangerous past. When she is moved to Long Beach her life changes for the better. Ryan is working as a delivery guy while trying to get into the Sheriff's office as a deputy. He's hot and flirty, but has some strong morals. When he meets the beautiful Rebel and finds a dead body in all the same night things go from good to bad.

Rebel is a likable character, she meets some great co-workers that turn into friends. She's pretty tough coming from Wyoming and I liked that about her. Ryan is pretty easy going, he connects with Rebel right from the start. Now I did feel like the romance and mystery didn't mesh well. I felt like both were being forced together instead of seamlessly connecting. The mystery and romance was also pretty rushed. I wanted to see the mystery unfold slowly, instead it wrapped up rather quickly with me not understanding exactly what they found as evidence. There were a few parts I skimmed through. The more of the author's political opinions showed through, the more I skimmed. Whether I agree or not, didn't want to read about it.

The romance part was sweet. Ryan and Rebel are likable characters. I could see the potential of what a great story it could have been. Despite the politics and at time choppy story, the characters shined through and carried me to be end.

The Changeup is the 6th book in the Resort Romance Series by Mary Billiter. Each book can be read as a stand-alone. I had previously read one of the other books in the series, Wine Thief, which I thoroughly enjoyed. The Changeup was also a really good read and I’d definitely read the others in this series too.
The changeup is a murder mystery with added romance. Although it’s a murder mystery, I also found much of the book to be light hearted. I really loved the characters in this book, not just Rebel and ‘McHotie’ Ryan, the 2 main characters but also Rebel’s workmates who have a large part to play in the story.
When you’ve just moved to a new area under the witness protection programme the last thing you want on your first week at your new job is to find a dead body but that’s exactly what happens to Rebel Roberts. Her knight in shining armour is delivery guy Ryan McHenry, a trainee police deputy, who is there when she finds the body of former police deputy Bernie Thomas.
What follows is a great story in which Rebel and Ryan, with the help of Rebel’s colleagues, try to work out why Bernie was murdered and also what dodgy dealing are going on at the hotel they are working in.
I would definitely recommend The Changeup, and the rest of this series to anyone who enjoys a good romance with a little intrigue added.

Rebel Roberts has been put in FBI protective custody, and can't seem to stay in one place without trouble. So her latest move is to Long Beach, where she's supposed to keep on the down low. However, Rebel seems to find trouble no matter where she goes, and hits again when she comes across a dead body at her new place of work. Former baseball pitcher Ryan McHenry is trying to become a cop, so while he's in the academy, he's been working as a delivery driver, when he meets Rebel. See, he was there as well when she came across the body, so they're now together in this new development, as she somehow talks him into moving said body away from her place of business. What then follows is a lot of fun while trying to figure out who would murder someone in the parking lot. Obviously, there's twists coming from every direction, but then there's this amazing cast of secondaries as well. They are so colorful that it kept me laughing a ton throughout. Then there's the chemistry between the crazy Rebel, and Ryan, which does explode into some hot sexy times. The talented Mary Billiter penned a super fun story with a side of suspense that kept me turning the pages, so I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

The Changeup
A Resort Romance
Book 6
By Mary Billiter
☆☆☆☆☆
This is a full length novel with romance and suspense. The complete rollercoaster to unfold the truth in this story.

Rebel Roberts is under the witness protection program. Between hiding and working the hotel she must lay low. But keeping her head down could pose a problem. As she is just what her name says, she is a Rebel! Trouble seems to find her, and now she is caught in the middle. Ryan has come to the rescue, but she has secrets. As her lies of who she is come crashing down. Will she be able solve the case and get Ryan too?

Ryan McHenry is training to be a deputy sheriff, just like his uncle. He is following his lifelong dream. But when he meets Rebel, everything he has learned could be in jeopardy. Are there to many lies between both him and Rebel? Can he help solve this case and keep the girl safe?

Mary Billiter has done it again. Her series continues in a new town, new resort and new characters. I love Rebel and Ryan's story. So many things that could jeopardize this couples lives. Yet the truth shall make them free. This is a fast paced page turner. I was drawn in in the first chapter and kept there till the end. Job well done Mary Billiter! I'm looking forward to the next story in this series.

The Changeup is by Mary Billiter is advertised as A Resort Romance Novel Book 6. Its the first book I have read, and since I enjoyed it, I have looked for other books in the series. I cannot find them, so I cant speak to them, but I give this book a 4 star. I really enjoyed it, it had a good mix of drama, suspense and romance. I would read more books by the author, and hope to find the rest of this series. Rebel and Ryan at first glance should never work out, but they develop an instant relationship and must quickly learn how to trust each other, when there is so much at risk.
Rebel is in Witness Protection and has just been relocated to ensure her safety, while awaiting trial. Her entire life has been turned upside down after discovering, and reporting a crime. She was forced to change her name, job and location. At least the newest location is at a swanky resort, in Long Beach. Never mind the fact she is still working in the basement.
Ryan is a former baseball player that didn't make it to the big leagues He is now in training to become a sheriff deputy. He has memorized the handbook, and knows all the rules. But that may not be enough, when he stumbles across a dead body. Despite being an official cop, he finds himself in the middle of solving a murder mystery.

The Changeup by Mary Billiter is the sixth book in the Resort Romance series, I have to say this is one of my favourite series. This story follows Rebel Roberts who has a rough past but with the help of some people she has turned her life around but will something happens that changes her life forever.

Rebel is in hiding after being in witness protection and is enjoying a great life in Long Beach, she is working at the Long Resort as a Conference Services Manager and is supposed to keep a low profile so when she discovers a dead body it could not be worse for her.

Ryan McHenry was the local college sport star, who is the process of training to become the Deputy Sherrif but while he is in training he is a deliveryman part time. So when he stumbles across Rebel and a dead body he can't resist to help her get to the bottom of the reason of why he was murdered.

This story is full of twists and turns with a dash of intrigue and chemistry this will have you turning the pages to find the conclusion to the story. This is a great stand alone book but I do recommend the whole series as their are great characters and stories which will have you re-reading them time and again. I can not wait for the next exciting instalment in this great series.

The Changeup is the sixth book in Mary Billiter’s Resort Romance’s series! I found the series when the fourth book came out and I have been a fan of her writing ever since. One could think that it is some flimsy easy reading when seeing that it is “Resort Romance” but it is far from that! Mary’s books make you feel, deep, and they make you think and I promise you that you do find yourself thinking of the stories now and then! AND you can read each story as a standalone so it means you have not missed the train!
The Changeup is the story of Rebel Roberts who is trying to keep a low profile as a hotel conference services manager/ being in Witness Protection, and Ryan McHenry who is a former college baseball pitcher/aspiring deputy sheriff. Add to this a dead body and what do you have at your hands? Chemistry that leaves you blushing and reaching for a fan and … suspense/a mess of gargantuan proportions … sort of … They will take you on a ride that you keep wishing that ends in Happily Ever After AND let’s not forget about all those great supporting characters, it is another bunch of great cast and it is something that I have enjoyed with each of the book in the series!

Here’s a cute story with a little mystery. Mary Billiter is the author of the Resort Romance novels. Each book is about a different set of characters. Each story is based in a hotel within the Point Resorts. While this is book 6 there is no need to read them in order. But you will definitely want to read all of the books.

Rebel Roberts is our leading lady and is trying to save herself with the help of the FBI. But trouble seems to follow Rebel no matter where she goes. Ryan McHenry is a soon to be sheriff’s deputy in Rebel’s new town. He can read Rebel’s lies across town, but when they discover a dead body together, he knows that there is more going on, not just with Rebel but with some of the locals in town too.

I liked reading about these two characters and their little adventure. Billiter has an easy style to read, which makes for a quick read. She writes about characters that are real but in such a way that the reader can escape into the characters world forgetting about their own problems.

Another Mary Billiter recommendation.

The Changeup (A Resort Romance Novel Book 6) by Mary Billiter is another great read. Mary has done a fantastic job with this story and I fell in love with the characters from the very first page of the first book. The story is told from a duel POV which gives the story much more depth and perspective. I found myself laughing at the antics of the characters as they try to get to the bottom of who did it. It is a murder mystery, romance story and this is one of my favourites in this series.

Rebel is in witness protection so the last thing she needs is a murder, but to find out who did it, she finds a lot more than she bargained for.

Ryan wants nothing more than to be blue blood and is training to be a deputy sheriff but what he stumbles across in an alley is more than he ever imagined and may just place the one thing he wants most in the world in jeopardy.

There are secrets and mysteries, lies and loss that will keep you glued to each and every page.

Standalone: Yes
Part of a Series: Yes Book 6 of the Resort RomanceSeries
POV: Rebel and Ryan
Steam Level: Slow Burn to Toasty at times
4/5

The Changeup is the first I've read by this author and in this series The Changeup was super cute, funny and suspenseful (although I did figure part of it out early on). My only real issue was how quickly it was wrapped up. Throughout the novel was full of detail that was engrossing and engaging but at the it was tidied up in one short chapter a month later which made it seems like a gift-wrapped conclusion and wasn't very satisfying, compared the rest of the book. This really is the only reason I'm knocking my review to a 4. With a tighter ending and epilogue this could have been a 5-star romance.

I received an advanced copy of this book. This is my honest and voluntary review.

The Changeup (A Resort Romance Novel Book 6) By Mary Billiter. While this is book 6 it can definitely be read as a standalone without any questions or confusion, but do yourself a favor and read the others because they are great also. I loved this story and how the author makes each one unique, this one had suspense which I love in stories. I love a book that has me trying to figure everything out. This story is in both main characters point of view and I’m a fan of that because it makes for a well rounded storyline. The characters are easy to connect with even when I wanted to smack them a bit. It’s well written and paced nicely although a bit rushed in the ending but still a great read. I’m giving this book a four star review and recommend it to everyone. Excited to see where the author takes readers next.

The Changeup by Mary Billiter is the sixth book in the Resort Romance Series. Though it is the sixth book, it can be read as a standalone. The Changeup is a whodunit mystery with romance thrown in for good measure. This is a story about a woman who trying to hide from her past and a baseball pitcher who is planning his future. Will there two worlds collide? Can it work out for the two of them?

The Changeup is another great book in the series, you will not be disappointed. I recommend reading the series because they are all so good. The twists and turns keeps you engaged, because you never know what will happen next. The characters are very believable and well developed. The secondary characters are just as good as the main ones. Looking forward to reading what comes next in the series.

The Changeup ( A Resort Romance Novel Book 6) by Mary Billiter. This is such a sweet story about Rebel Roberts & Ryan McHenry. Rebel is in the Witness Protection Program and has been moved to Long Beach from Wyoming. She's a strong willed woman. She becomes a hotel conference services manager trying to keep a low profile and Ryan is trying to become a deputy sheriff but in the meantime is a delivery guy. When Rebel & Ryan meet sparks fly and when they find a body together things really heat up. Ryan can tell Rebel is lying a lot but can't figure out why. Will they trust each other enough to find happiness together or will they let it keep them apart. This is book 6 in the series but can be read as a standalone.

The Changeup, by Mary Billiter, is a romantic suspense. This sixth novel fit perfectly within the A Resort Romance series. I adored the character names, they were fun to add in with the hilarious, suspenseful, intriguing and drama filled moments of the story. Rebel's character was, by far, the best in this novel - something about her character shined thoroughly through. It could have been her witty nature or her personal set of morals/ethics, but it was unique. Then Ryan! Oh my goodness, the nickname he is graced with, its fabulous nickname! There are memorable characters in this book that just make it so good, entertaining and a must read! Not only do you get suspense within this story, the author gives you a bit more and delivers.

THE CHANGEUP (a resort romance novel book 6) by Mary Billiter

Four Stars

The Changeup is filled with a lot of mystery and drama. It wasn’t really exciting but it did have me wanting to know what happened. Rebel really got my interest. She is living two lives and is have almost an identity crisis. I liked how she had no filter about what she thought and how she wanted to be treated. Rebel said what she thought and it was refreshing. McCutie was also a favorite he plays a great knight in a delivery uniform lol. I would’ve like to see more character development and background. The side characters were great I like Da Nise lol. I couldn’t get over that part. Ria seems like a very likable but insecure character. Over all I enjoyed it for what it was.

At first I was completely bored by the book, but that changed. After a few chapters I began to like Rebel and Ryan. Ryan comes first in the nice guys list, and is very likeable. Rebel has brains and balls as she is to testify against the owners of a trucking company who keep their drivers in poverty by implementing false rules and steel from them.
This book was no. 6 in a series, but that didn't bother me in reading. You can read it as a stand alone book.
For some reason I don't like books written in the I person. In this one it changed from Rebel to Ryan. You have to get used to that. You also have to get used to the not so nice language sometimes and the sex. Yes people, Rebel and Ryan share a bed, and a couch, and a shower. Young people...

Amazing! I've volunteered to review this book for United Indie Book Blog. This is my first time reading one of Mary Billiter stories. This is the sixth book in the Resort Romance series. This is a sweet romance and a cozy mystery all wrapped in one. It's a story that had me hooked from the beginning and I didn't want to put it down. This is a story about a woman who is hiding from her past. Then you have a baseball pitcher who has plans for his future. What will happen when their lives collide? You Have to get this one!!! I can't wait to read the next one in this series. I will definitely going back and catching up on the rest of this series. Keep up the awesome work.

The Changeup is book six in the Resort Romance series by Mary Billiter. This author always goes that bit further when releasing the next story in a series. It is evident the work that goes into making the next book edgier, racier, more dramatic, more soulful, more arousing. Engaging with each character is unique with each addition.

Each story affects me differently. Each story makes me feel varied emotions. A LOT of emotion. Rebel and Ryan provided entertainment, love, humour, intrigue and never ending theatrics. All these characters take a little piece of my heart when the final word is read, and these stories are ones I cherish. 5 stars.

This is the sixth book in this series and can be read as a standalone but I would suggest reading them all as they are just as enjoyable as this one. This is a story about a woman who is hiding from her past and gets a job as a manager at a hotel. Then you have a baseball pitcher who has plans for his future. What will happen when their lives collide? I enjoyed these characters. They are connectable and I found myself relating to them easily. I highly recommend this book, love and suspense!

The Changeup by Mary Billiter is the sixth book in the Resort Romance Novel series and I really liked this book. I loved Rebel and her co-workers at The Point. I would have loved to see them a little more involved at certain parts of the story.

Ryan was a great guy, but a little too good of a guy for me. But I guess since he is studying to be a sheriff's deputy he has to be good.

Ms. Billiter's stories have more than just the romance aspect, there always a much deeper story involved and I really do enjoy that. Hope to see more books in this series!

The Changeup by Mary Billiter
Stars:4

This story combines mystery (solving a murder) and romance. The main characters are Rebel and Ryan. They have great chemistry that really pulled me into the story. Rebel is brave and tries to do the right thing. However, she can be frustrating. Ryan is patient and driven. He was my favorite character. The supporting characters were great! I recommend this story.
