What influences Eran’s unique menu?

Family and fun define what makes Eran tick. He has a Tunisian born father and a Syrian-Israeli mother and was brought up in a lively household with a larger-than-life grandfather who was a flamboyant womaniser who loved life and its many indulgences. He owned a bar, a club, and a restaurant, his influence on Eran and his ambitions is clear.

As well as family, Eran loves to travel and he uses many international milestones from his life to influence his cooking. On his adventurous travels he has drawn from the cultures of far east asia, western Africa, Thailand and Japan. These influences can be felt in the walls, floors, in the very air of Kapara. As well as our restaurant space we also have subterranean dining available, a space ideal for large groups of party goers or an intimate get together, it seats 36 (or up to 50 people standing). This basement space is available for private functions, stag do’s, hen parties, drag brunches or for celebrating pride in style, anything you can imagine, we want to create a space open to everyone to enjoy. And we don’t just provide a dining area, there is also a dance floor ready for your best steamy moves and a more-than fully stocked bar, 3 of them in fact!
