For today’s blog hop I created two watercolour cards using the newly released products. My first card features Craft Your Life Project Kit: Splendid Bouquet and Painter's Palette Watercolour Tube Bundle

happy birthday

I started by stamping a floral bouquet with light grey ink onto a watercolour paper from Watercolour Paper Set (A2 loose sheets) - Cold Pressed. Next, I die cut it with coordinating die and used Primary Yellow, Sv Orange, Olive Green and French Ultramarine Artists' Watercolour Tubes to colour the bouquet in.

Painter's Palette Watercolour Tubes

To finish the design I stamped leafy branches from Mini Delight: Plants & Vases Stamp & Die Set with Forest Glades Fresh Dye Ink and added the sentiment from Craft Your Life Project Kit: Splendid Bouquet

For my second card I combined watercolours with Bubble Wrap Stencil to create a watercoloured background.

This time I mixed Primary Yellow and Olive Green Artists' Watercolour Tubes for a different shades of green.

To finish my card I added white panel with a sentiment from Craft Your Life Project Kit: Splendid Bouquet and two leafy branches created with Rustling Leaves Bundle. I used Rustling Leaves Die Set to die cut the leafy branches out of white cardstock and then run them through an embossing machine with Rustling Leaves 3D Embossing Folder for an extra texture.

For today’s blog hop I created a floral wreath card using the newly released Mini Delight: Painted Posies Stamp & Die Set. This flower cluster has a beautiful watercolour painted look and it’s perfect for making wreaths with artistic flair. I started by creating my background. I masked a card base with Altenew Satin Masking Tape and used Small Ink Blending Brush with Green Opal from Jewel Tones Crisp Dye Ink to ink my card. Next I stamped 4 flower clusters from the set using Baby Pink, Fuchsia and Magenta Crisp Dye Inks and cut them out using a coordinating die. The matching die set includes the cluster of flowers but also a branch of four delicate leaves to help complete the floral composition. I die cut 11 of them out of white cardstock and used Forest Glades, Evergreen Crisp Dye Inks and Mini Blending Brushes to colour them in.

miss you

To finish my card I added sentiments from the set.

miss you

For today’s blog hop I created two simple projects using the newly released products. For my first card I used Stencil Art: Playful Watercolor Flowers Layering Stencil Set (6 in 1). Stencil Art takes your stenciling to the next level! Featuring six layering stencils, the Stencil Art Bi-Monthly Subscription will allow you to effortlessly create a large and intricate design on your handmade projects. Simply add ink and blending brushes, and you'll be ready to start creating!

thank you

This set is another beautiful addition to the Altenew collection! I love that I can create a beautiful floral arrangement in no time! Using Mini Blending Brushes, I simply blended over Baby Pink, Fuchsia, Magenta, Butternut, Pumpkin Pie, Cloudy Sky, Nimbus, Shadow Creek and Mountain Pine Crisp Dye Inks. To finish my card I added a sentiment from Elegant Sayings Stamp Set.

thank you

For my second project I played with Color-by-Number: Instant Artist - Blossoming Florals (12 Sheets) and Acrylic Marker 24 Color Set - Vol. 1, it’s also available as a bundle. Each page features a different floral image, with both black lines and grayed-out lines for each design. You will find colour instructions that come on each sheet and perfectly coordinate with the colours in numbered Acrylic Marker 24 Color Set - Vol. 1., but you can experiment with your own colour combinations too! It’s such a relaxing activity for both kids and adults! I can’t wait to finish them all!

Craft Your Life Project Kit updates
Craft Your Life Project Kit will no longer be released to the public in the Altenew store, not like other subscription products. It will only be available via the Ultimate Subscription Plan or Craft Your Life Project Kit Monthly Subscription Plan.

For my today’s project I used the Craft Your Life Project Kit: Flourishing Garden. This kit was exclusively released as a monthly subscription plan in November 2023. If you want to get the EXCLUSIVE Project Kit Design of the month, please go to the MONTHLY SUBSCRIPTION PLAN.

The Flourishing Garden set features an exquisite floral bouquet outline with ample petals. The coordinating stencils and dies are perfect for more intricate details and to elevate your design.

big hugs

I stamped my images with black ink and used coordinating stencil set to colour my images in. I used here Pastel Sunrise and Canyon Clay from Martian Terrain Crisp Dye Ink set, purple shades from Sugarplums Crisp Dye Ink set, Butternut and Pumpkin Pie from Fall Harvest Crisp Dye Ink set along with Olive and Moss from Tropical Forest Crisp Dye Ink set. The coordinating layering stencils make the process so quick, easy and fun! My last step was to add some little ink splatters and a sentiment.

big hugs
