A most rewarding and deeply moving event for the IASSA Gender in the Arctic Working Group folks and the interdisciplinary ASSW23 audience in Vienna.
With artists, scholars and activists from all over the (pan-Arctic) world.
We queer-streamed and gender-mainstreamed, Indigeneity-streamed and art-streamed the Arctic Science Summit Week in Vienna, February 2023.
Around 600 conference participants could easy-access and immerse themselves in the prominently displayed Women in Polar Science exhibition, the immensely touching film series by renown Sámi film-makers and the two-days workshop.
