The Gift of Discovery is helping patients recover better
Dr Alice Wei has discovered a way to standardize care for
patients post-surgery. This important work is improving
outcomes for Canadians affected by one of the hardest cancers
to treat — pancreatic cancer.
Thanks to your support of The Pink Ribbon Project, a
recent clinical trial found that as many as 7 in 10 women
with early-stage breast cancer could be spared from
chemotherapy.
As a 38-year-old new mom, Corinne Schelle’s cancer diagnosis
came as a shock. But Corinne was able to find renewed joy and
excitement, thanks to her new wig.
