Brown Bag Films are looking to recruit a QC Supervisor to join the Post-production department. The successful applicant will have at least 2 years’ experience in a Post-production environment. The candidate will work within the QC department providing quality control on content created at BBF/9Story. This is a challenging role which involves managing a high volume of workload and working to tight deadlines. This role will require the candidate to work outside normal business hours when necessary to meet business requirements.
Duties include:

•QC on final animation passes before online/finishing.
•QC on all broadcast file deliveries – audio and visual.
•Encoding final picture master with 12-24 multi-track audio configuration.
•Digital deliveries of final masters.
•Adobe Premiere Pro/DaVinci Resolve multi-track audio track-lays plus basic edit tasks.
•Working closely with online and audio depts. throughout mastering process.
•Completing in-depth support documents for master delivery to client.
•Basic DVD authoring and output/duplication of DVDs.
•Communicate with Supervisor on status of all jobs in progress.
•Updating internal workflows and QC department documentation.
•Project data maintenance across all projects.
•Keep up to date with latest technologies, file types, OTT platform handbooks etc.
•Adapting to any new technologies introduced by Brown Bag Films.
The ideal candidate will have the following attributes:

•Previous experience of broadcast mastering and QC in a Post-production facility.
•Technical knowledge of 4K/HD/SD file-based delivery including encoding a variety of different file formats.
•Adobe Premiere Pro/DaVinci Resolve experience including project setup for individual broadcaster specifications.
•An in-depth understanding of video and audio standards including colour management, field order, frame rates, codecs and audio loudness specifications.
•Excellent communication skills and strong administration experience are essential.
•Harding PSE, cineXtools and IMF deliveries knowledge an advantage.
