A painting, a panic room, a thief, and her lover … whose job is to catch her.

There are three things you need to know about Anna.
1) She’s a bounty hunter with adrenaline junkie habits,
2) She’s the “awkward” twin, and
3) She’s a thief – kind of.

Darius designs security systems for Cipher Security, and the strange and remarkable woman he met the night the painting was stolen is as intriguing a mystery as his hunt for the thief is.

But the lady has no filter, and she knows she can’t lie to the man who looks like a Disney Prince and kisses like fairytales are true, so she runs from the one person who may actually see her as the heroine of her own story.

Favorite Quotes:

How was it possible that Colette, wearing jeans and a linen shirt, could look so effortlessly female, while I looked like a confused boy playing dress-up in his sister’s closet? … We were genetically identical, and yet my body was awkwardly athletic while hers was willowy and slender. My laugh was loud and startling, and hers made fairies sigh and small woodland creatures come out and sing. She walked like a supermodel in stiletto heels while I teetered around like a drunk toddler in anything higher than Doc Martens combat boots.

… his gaze gave me sweaty butterflies. I’ve determined they’re a thing, since I don’t get simple, fluttery, girly butterflies like most straight women do when a ridiculously handsome guy notices them. My butterflies flap around so hard they make me feel slightly nauseated, which inevitably leads to a mild case of the sweats. Ergo, sweaty butterflies.

I had realized when I was a kid, choosing Honor as my D&D character, that my personal code felt a little like a mix of Robin Hood and Mulan, with an unfortunate dose of Sid, the filterless sloth.

I can be a lot of things... but shy isn’t in my repertoire. Awkward and dorky I have covered, and I could draw a map to Mortification Central, but I won’t, because that’s the kind of place you have to stumble into."

“You have a T. rex costume?” he asked as he looked over my shoulder. I snorted. “You don’t?” I shut the drawer before he could see the rhinestone tiara.

My Review:

This fun and snappily written book was chock-a-block full of smartly amusing humor that sparkled brighter than ten glitter bombs and took quirkiness to a stratospheric level. I adored, savored, and gleefully devoured each and every one of Ms. White's perfectly chosen and expertly paced arrangements of words.

Ms. White’s writing was crisp and flawlessly engaging. Her charismatic characters were delightfully idiosyncratic and deliciously filterless while brimming with uncanny and colorful nonsense as well as intelligent insights and astute observations. The intrigue and mystery were craftily scaffolded and shrewdly tucked in between and among brilliant and raucous bouts of comedy. I adore her brand of whip-smart cleverness and also learned a thing or two, as a consultation with Mr. Google was required for engineer boots and the Four Noble Truths.

In the famous words of Lady Gaga: "brilliant, incredible, amazing, show-stopping, spectacular, never the same, totally unique..."

description

What an absolute treat of a book.
Anna is a bounty hunter (a delightful job for a protagonist by the way) and she needs to retrieve one stolen painting, by... stealing it. But, Anna and her twin sister have the perfect plan for this heist to work.

What she didn't expect was, to come across Darius Masoud, a Disney prince lookalike that designed the security system Anna just broke into and, that something way more valuable could possibly be hidden behind the painting she just retrieved.

I just have to straight up say it: go read this. It's witty and light but so interesting. Anna's character is so refreshing, she has a Catwoman meets Lois Lane vibe to her. The mystery in this was intriguing enough to keep me interested but never took away from the romance.

And can I just elect Darius to be on my top 10 book boyfriends of the year list? He's gorgeous, intelligent, loves his family, is understanding, tries to improve himself, has a boat, knows how to cook... really, what more could you want?

Finishing this amazing book has reminded me yet again that I need to read April White’s entire backlist! She is truly phenomenal! I love Code of Conduct, and she went and did it again with Code of Honor!

I’ve noticed with April that she writes gahmazing heroines! Strong, sexy, and super intelligent. I loved the humor, the sexual tension between the characters, and Darius is just so extra! I don’t want to spoil a thing, but what I love the most about April’s stories is how she wraps up the romance, and gives it an adrenaline rush! My heart rate gets slightly elevated when I read these books! Bravo, April!

Update: 1/21/2021: Audio listen. I really like. Anna is wackier than I remember, Darius is still dreamy. The male narrator does a great job with Darius and other supporting roles.
4.5 stars for the audio..... I just checked my book shelf. I have the paperback of Code of Conduct, but I need the PB for this one!
+++++++++++++++++++++
Update: This is now on KU. (I bought this, but each Smartypants goes to KU the week after release)!
Too soon for a reread?? I want the audio when it comes out.
I highly recommend! Edit: Here's my review:
Of all the Smartypants 2nd phase books, this was my most anticipated.
I love the spin off from book 1 - Knitting in the City book - Neanderthal Seeks Human. specifically Cipher Security (Quinn's Company).
This is Darius (swoony hero, who works for Cipher Security.
The heroine is Anna is a twin (to Colette) . Colette is the polished, posh and more socially confident of the two. Anna is adventurous, spontaneous, and quite the stealthy thief.
The set up to their caper is brilliant. I loved how Darius's world and Anna's clashed liked nobody's business. Such a meet cute like your wouldn't believe.
This is 1st person alternating POV Anna/Darius.
I loved that each lead character had -to me- equal story time. Anna thinks of Darius as a "Disney prince"- ala you-know who-Aladdin.
This book had me riveted, but it came up during the big CV-19 quarantine. I was moving from work to home & sorry that I had small bits of time to read. + stress, etc.
Speaking of that, this is a great book to take your mind off of you know what.
This is a standalone, but it does have supporting characters from the previous books & cameos from other books.
A+ to all the supporting characters.*I'll keep secret some of them- but I did love Darius' family. (makes me miss my mom! )
I absolutely loved Anna & Darius' story. This is in my top books for 2020 & will be hard to beat.
Perfect ending. No Cliffy. I bought this book but it's now in Kindle Unlimited..
Great writing by April White., I loved the focus on the art gallery, Anna's antics (she's fearless!) Darius is brilliant, swoony and is really attracted to Anna's quirkiness.
I will not be waiting very long to reread this. It was a movie in my mind and heart.

"5 - Learning to color outside the lines-Stars"

This story was such a joy to read!
LOVED! LOVED! LOVED IT!

Anna was AMAZING!
She is now one of my all-time favourite characters.
She was charismatic, fearless, intelligent, funny, loyal, loving, and her light shone so brightly.

If she was a real character, I would want to be her friend.

I was entertained, engaged, and totally got lost in this story.

I couldn't put it down.
I didn't want to put it down and read it in one sitting.

Code of Honor can be read as a standalone.

I highly recommend this story!

I have been bad, very very bad. I read this, loved it, and then somehow didn't put all the loving words down to express how I felt about it. Needless to say, I hang my head in shame.

What I will say briefly because you have all the amazing reviews posted to read is this...April White writes like no other...she is a master in crafting, creating, and plotting.
She captures the reader's imagination every single time from the first page and when you start one of her books, whether it be contemporary or historical, or paranormal, you will want to only read White. Forget about work, obligations, or other expected tasks. She is that good.

This is the second book of the Cipher Security series and fingers crossed there are more to come.

I absolutely loved Code of Conduct so Code of Honor was one of the new installments I was most looking forward to. Once again, April White did not disappoint. Anna Collins was a perfect fit for the Pennyverse and I loved her. Anna and Darius, the Disney prince we were first introduced to in CoC, had instant chemistry. They were both completely quirky lovers of literature who made me laugh out loud several times. I absolutely loved them both. Romance and Mysteries are my two favorite genres so this book was a perfect fit for me. Code of Honor was the perfect mix of suspense and intrigue while mixing in a dynamic romance as well. The mystery was filled with lots of twists and turns that kept me guessing. As always, we got glimpses of all of Penny’s characters who work at Cypher Security which is always a fun reunion.

I can’t recommend this book enough and look forward to reading more from April White!

‘Darius seemed to think the grin was for him though, and his slow, answering smile started the fluttering right back up again. “Don’t do that,” I said with a scowl.

“Don’t smile?” A look of confusion dimmed the smile down to something the butterflies could manage, and I nodded.

“Thank you. The sweaty butterflies were making me a little ill.”

It’s very rare that you can discover a writer that is not only merely proficient in writing across genres, but that she manages to cross them with alacrity, passion and remarkable talent. When I discuss what makes a great writer to me, I always come to the conclusion that if their words are able to make you really, truly feel, that the descriptions and plot are vivid and well executed, the dialogue is clever and witty, and that the characters are engaging, authentic and multifaceted, then you have something pretty spectacular on your hands and with Code of Honor, April White has managed to convey all of that and more.

Anna, to date, is my best-loved heroine of any of April’s female protagonists. I know I probably say that about each one that debuts but Anna has fought hard and earned that mantle. Her personality is this wonderful, sparkling concoction of absurdity and guilelessness, strength and intelligence. The lack of filter she suffers, when it comes to socialising with others, made for some of the most hilarious, vivacious and awkward scenes I’ve had the pleasure to read.

Author April White has seriously outdone herself, with the abundance of humour and compromising situations that our intrepid heroine finds herself in. The laughter was very real, the cringe-worthy moments stellar and the interactions between loquacious Anna and the more modulated Darius, made for not only some of the best comedic moments, but also some really sweet and romantic ones too. How Darius responds to Anna and appreciates how utterly charming and bizarre she is, cements him in as a super swoon-worthy, suave and sophisticated hero. Well, those things certainly help his case, but truth be told, Darius is a force to be reckoned with all on his own. There is a reason why Anna dubs him a Disney prince and it’s not just for his spectacular looks. Darius is everything you want in a hero. His words and beliefs are backed up by his actions. He is stalwart, strong, brilliant, romantic yet very serious. So when Anna enters his life, they both offer each other solace in ways they never knew they needed. Anna is able to bring forth his rusty sense of humour, the fun and frolics that have been missing from Darius’s complicated and fairly heartbreaking life. Darius in return offers Anna acceptance. He celebrates the things about her that other people don’t, that she herself is wary of. Up against solving decades old mysteries, bounty hunting and outsmarting the bad guys, these two spark and ignite off each other and it makes for some seriously hot and heavy sexual tension throughout.

Even though Anna is one seriously remarkable bada$$, she has this innate sweetness to her; a vulnerability that edges out every so often, whenever she talks about herself in comparison to others, she has confidence, yes, but she also has weaknesses like any other woman, and that little chink in her armour had me falling very hard for her character. I loved her because she was open and honest, without subterfuge in her personality. Even when she should have been less forthcoming she somehow found a way for the truth to shine out, no matter if it put her own self in jeopardy and to me that makes a heroine, a heroine.

Code of Honor is a sensational, twisty, humorous and well planned out, piece of imaginative romantic suspense. From beginning to end, the storyline is peppered with exciting, fast-paced drama, high sexual tension, swoony romance and epic adventure, giving readers an exhilarating thrill ride from Chicago to Boston. There is never a lull in the story, you are continuously swept up in either the unfolding plot or the breath-catching, butterfly inducing romance and that is precisely why this book is a must read.

Ahhhh! We're so close to the release of CODE OF HONOR by April White Books! Think The Thomas Crown Affair on this one. Flirty Romance, suspense, action...all the good stuff. TWO WEEKS!

4.5 „Busted“ Stars

First of all I frigging love April White and the fantastic tales that she weaves.

Secondly I love the Cipher Security Series and this here was just as good as the first book in the series.

I have one tinny whinny thing to niggle at but that shall come later.

Anna Collins, bounty hunter, adrenaline junkie and a soon to be a one time thief has a plan to get back a painting that once belonged to her mother. However in the execution of the plan she doesn’t realise that she would meet a Disney prince and that she would beat his system.

When I grow up I want to be Anna, she is strong, loyal, has no filter, an imagination that runs wild and she pretends to be nothing other than herself. Sometimes I didn’t like how she perceived herself but it improved throughout the book. Besides we all have our moments where we doubt ourselves.

Darius Masoud is our Disney prince. He also the security design specialist for Cipher and he has been bested when he is called in to see how the painting was taken. He is not impressed. But he gets more than be bargained for. I liked Darius until he became to black and white and even when he did get his head out of his arse for me it was too little too late. Sorry, mate but you screwed up, be lucky that Anna is more forgiving than I am.

Normally we as readers tend to be more critical of the heroine and the choices that she makes. However I must say that I am far more critical of Hero. Once again not cool Darius.

The connection between these two were instant and they complement one another. The chemistry was off the charts be it the emotional and sexual.

This book has everything that I love in a plot. Suspense, a mystery painting, buried secrets and a bloody hilarious heist involving a dinosaur.
Thank you to Ms. White and Smartypants for this wonderful, delightful and uplifting read.
Read it, you won’t regret it.

I just listened to the audiobook, and I have to say, I loved it. Maybe because it's been a bit since I last read Code of Honor, or maybe because the performances were so good, but I laughed out loud and was totally invested in these characters.

Kind of a strange thing for the author to say, but I dare any author to go back to one of their books without "discovering" something about it. I'm thrilled with the audiobook, and proud of the story.

Code Of Conduct ( #1) was one of my favourite romance novels in 2019 , April White with her witty and beautiful writing style , continued the World Of Cipher Security exactly as Penny Reid Created it , by adding Brilliant characters and interesting stories .

In The Second Instalment in this series ( Which can also be read as a stand alone ) , the writing style didn't change at all , it was still sarcastic , smart , funny , expressive and gripping . Which shows how GREAT April White as An Author .

The Main Characters in Code Of  Honor were Awesome , I loved every single detail about them and their story .

But I gave it 4 stars because it was a little fast - paced for my liking , usually I love the tension be tween the characters to go on for a little more than the first 3 chapters :P .

The plot was different , exciting as I already said , I couldn't put this book down until I finished the whole novel in one sitting .

Personally , I would Highly recommend this book for all Romantic suspense readers.

I am a bit on the fence with this book.

At first the humor was a bit juvenile for me, I almost didn't bother but it got better.

The set up is the heroine is a twin and the Hero meets her while she is pretending to be her sister, but he realises things aren't quite right.

The twin sister has a one night stand with 'the mark' but the Hero thinks it's the heroine and she has just slept with another man, he even sees camera footage of it and then he has sex with the heroine some hours later.

That felt a bit ew to me.

Yes he is having sex with the heroine and it's the heroines twin sister he saw having sex with another man but he thinks it's the heroine.

There are a few intimate comments about the sister and other man.

Intimate scene with the Hero and heroine.

Also the pooing on a boat scene.... Really... Ew... And why have that there??
Humor? I think not, I suppose it depends on your taste.

We see glimpses of Quinn, Dan and Stan, as they all work at Cipher Security and the previous couple from an earlier book.

That said the plot of the theft is quite clever and the book is well written.

HEA in form of happy for now, I imagine we may see bits of them as a couple in future books in series.

I'm enjoying the Ciper books from the Smartypants romance. There have this action mystery part fown plus very character driven aspect to it. Code of Honor has Thomas Crownr Affair feel to it. But then the two leads have their own ways of dealing with all that. Anna is the ultimate thrill seeker, she sees the world in grays. No filter, awkward and dorky at times. She's her own brand of different from her twin. So that twin aspect can be a skeptical thing some can tell the difference I guess some can't.

Anna restole if that makes sense a family painting and was clever about it. Not expecting to meet Darius who is also a security expert. Darius family is an immigrant, his family left Iran when he was young to escape the trouble there. It formed his ethics beliefs. So while these two have loads of sparks the friendship can be strained at times. Darius doea have this Disney prince appeal. And he does let loose at times and that's his best stuff. He and Anna get on with food and books are they talk. They only need to compromise or something with the whole black and white va gray area thoughts each has.

It's more complicated than that but I simplified it. But I really like the thoughtful aspect here. The conflicting feelings of Darius between his beliefs and what Anna does. They so belong together and has the chemistry and all that. I'm glad they found a way to merge them or write new rules for them as they go along. Anna helped Darius open up was nice too see. The whole painting scheme with all of that was brilliant and I enjoyed guessing with them.

I really, really enjoyed this dual perspective love story between a thief and a security expert. I loved the twin aspect of the story and the strong familial connections that motivated Anna to steal her mother's painting from a rich big-wig. The romance between Anna and Darius, a Middle Eastern man whose reputation is on the line. Steamy open door scenes, a great mystery and family secrets. This book had it all and was great on audio. Worked as a standalone but I can't wait to read the other books in the Cipher Security series. Highly recommended!

I love the slow burn romance, the abundance of laughs and the engaging, intriguing story that had me captivated from the first page to the last.

“My hearts always turn out like penises though.”
She turned to stare at me for exactly one second before she finally rolled her eyes. “Don’t draw in the coffee foam, Sis. Coffee dicks are off-putting.”
I grinned. “Not to mention unsanitary.”

Code of Honor
“My personal code felt a little like a mix of Robin Hood and Mulan, with an unfortunate dose of Sid the filterless sloth.” -Anna Collins

Anna was the heroine I didn’t know I needed to read. She had personality aspects of many of my favorite “Pennyverse” heroines. (That being said you do not need to have read any Penny Reid books to love this story! It just adds a little something extra if you have and April does a fantastic job of staying true to her characters.) She is wicked smart, quirky, funny, true to herself, and just lovely even if she probably wouldn’t describe herself as such. The wonderfully unique character traits made for a heroine so unabashedly individual and lovable. I was rooting for her from the first page until the last, and I was so hopeful for someone who could see her how she needed to be seen- Not as a thief, or a bounty hunter, or the tomboy twin, but as her unique self.

Darius is a Disney Prince with a code of honor so intense, you don’t know how two people so very different can make it work.
And yet, inevitably they do, and it is honest and lovely as is the journey their relationship takes.

April White has outdone herself yet again. How an author can paint a picture so vividly of somewhere I have never been... it’s absolutely amazing. I felt like I could walk you through the scenery and draw a picture of the locations because it was just that rich. Paintings I’ve never seen, museums, boats, and even the heroines home, were described in detail that was immersive, but never felt overdone.

The novel has intrigue and mystery, suspense and yes, swoony romance, “Code of Honor” was another amazing addition to the Smartypants Romance world.

I won an advanced copy, but was not asked for a review. I am happy to give one anyway. If you liked the first book in the series this one will not disappoint. The main character is authentic and quirky. You will likely have something in common with her or want to be her friend. I had smile on my face with the first page and laughed out loud many times throughout the book. The wonderful way April White writes weaves together down to earth realism with whimsy and romance. It makes you feel like these kind of relationships are real and plausible, while also sighing with longing to have one in your life. It was a fun read with great characters and a twist of mystery to the plot. If you haven't read the first one, read that one, then directly read this one. And if you haven’t read April White's Immortal Descendants series, check them out as well. She has become one of my favorite authors. I look forward to more books in this series or anything else she writes.

I. AM. FUMING.

Friends, I absolutely did not expect to be so angry I almost threw my book across the room and nearly let out a scream so loud it would wake the entire neighborhood. What the unholy FUCK did I just read????

I only got seven pages in, and I am incredibly pissed. I was expecting to read about two characters falling in love, except what I got was dated and utterly shitty gender politics.

Look, I am not going to assume the author's age and assign ignorance to them based on the number of years they have been alive. However in my experience, older folks tend to not understand if something they say is messed up or not. Also, to be clear, I am a cisgender female so I am NOT an authority on what I am about to say but I feel the need to stick up for my friends and loved ones as well as myself in a small way.

Ok, so I barely got seven pages into chapter 1, and most of Anna, the white cisgender female heroine of the book's dialogue has been comparing herself to her identical twin sister. While I have no siblings, I totally understand comparing yourself to family members for a number of reasons. However, Anna's sole focus of comparison is how "effortlessly female" (direct quote) her sister is, while she "looked like a confused boy playing dress-up in his sister's closet."

That last sentence was another direct quote, and is precisely what is angering me so. The author is DANGEROUSLY playing with b.s. gender nonsense and being incredibly insulting and cruel to anyone who doesn't present themselves within a made up binary. While I hope that the author did not mean to be so mean, the words are still within a published novel, I read them with my own two eyes and did not misread anything. This kind of rhetoric intentional or otherwise hurts countless people who do not identify within a binary system that can and has cause numerous people gender dysphoria. As well, what is wrong with being a cis female who doesn't present as femme? There is nothing wrong with dressing and presenting how you feel. Gender is a myth. As for the confused boy line, HOW DARE YOU. How DARE you even potentially insinuate that if a child who outwardly looks masculine dresses in a feminine manner for any reason simply be confused? That may possibly be the case but there are so SO many people who do such things as a child because dressing that way makes them feel safe, comfortable, etc. Again, this kind of writing is toxic and dangerous. If this nonsense got onto someone's hands that feels dysphoria and is susceptible to this stuff it could cause untold harm. Maybe not, everyone is different and feels differently, but I honestly do not think a chance should be taken.

This writing is an insult and I cannot believe this was deemed publishable. I really think a sensitivity reader could have been used, because WOW. Yes it is only seven pages into a book and I am not an own voices reviewer, but I am ready and willing to defend anyone and everyone.

You need to do better

Wow. What a magical story this was!
It read like a Disney fairytale for adults <3
I'm still searching for the right words to describe this book. It was perfectly researched, even though I have never been to Boston or Chicago or the Isabella Gardner Museum, I was there while reading the book. I discovered the history around the heist with Anna and Darius and stood in front of the beautiful pictures, learning about the stories they tell.
Anna and Darius were perfectly characterized. April provided just enough description to create a picture in my mind without setting the borders too close, leaving a lot to my imagination. I loved seeing Dan and Quinn and their reactions to Anna's quirkiness.
Anna... I could write a whole essay about why she's one of my Top 3 heroines of all times, but I think this would make this review explode. So believe me. This woman is quirky, unique and made me laugh so many times. I loved to see her reactions to everyday stuff, the way she kept discovering something magical in the ordinary stuff surrounding us. I vow, I want to try to take on more of her view of the world.
The plot itself was a great mystery and I kept getting surprised by the twists and turns the author surprised me with. I loved everything about this book and enjoyed learning new things. I love it, when a book not only entertains me, but teaches me things and this book was the perfect mix of everything I love about reading.
I cannot wait to see if there'll be another book in the Cypher Security Series.

April White was a new to me author with the Smartypants Romance Launch last year, but after hearing her talk about her experiences and her book at Book Bonanza, it was one of the ones I was most excited for. And it did not disappoint. Even more said with this next installment of the Cypher Security Series, I KNEW that this book was going to be amazing.

April's plots are well thought out, the precision of execution is flawless. The amount of research she did in the book, hands down, one of the best. Again, she exudes the smart romance genre. I know I personally was doing side research while reading this book, and the fact that she lined up the anniversary of one of her plot points, PERFECT!

Anna and her Disney prince were a treasure to get to know. I love how April touched on so many things with this book, including how people of ethnic backgrounds have to do so much extra just to do things we take for granted. I especially loved that he was a reader and had a book collection.
This book had me laughing in so many places, I want Anna to be my new best friend, and steal her t shirt collection. The title of this book has so many meanings, for both Anna and Darius. I love when authors are able to weave it in.

"My own bits of soul had found his and recognized them as known."

"I see the very best version of myself when you look at me."

"He was my honor-he was integrity and truth and his love gave me wings."

4.5 stars

Anna Collins was a wonderful heroine, I immediately loved her.
Even though they are totally opposite her and twin her sister Colette have amazing siblings relationship.
Darius was the mature, caring, professional man... who wouldn't love a Disney price.
Loved seeing KitC characters.
These two were tons of fun solving mystery, witty banter and great sexual tension filled the pages.
Highly recommend.

The second book in the Cipher Security Series, set in the Penny Reid Universe, specifically an offshoot of the Knitting in the City World is Code of Honor. This is also penned by the talented April White. I totally enjoyed the first book also penned by Ms. White, Code of Conduct and when I found out there was going to be a second one I couldn’t stop myself from jumping with glee. Ms. White did such a fantastic job with Code of Conduct that I was pretty sure that Code of Honor won’t disappoint. I did have initial misgivings about whether it was going to be at least at par with the first one but fear not Code of Honor holds itself on its own! And why not with such fantastic characters and unique plot it was definitely looking up as a great addition to the series. Main characters like Darius the Disney prince lookalike, who made a brief but lasting impression in the first book and Anna, the one badass not-a-princess with verbal diarrhea and just out of this world imagination are the stuff romance with opposites attract themes are just tailor made for. Code of Honor made me feel gooey and excited and just hungry for more. Anna and Darius had fantastic chemistry right off the bat but more importantly not cookie cutter characters. They are as multidimensional as any person and their opposite approaches and rules in life are the main obstacles in their romance which is basically real life romance territory in itself. I love how they interacted, try resolving the issues and just basically jumped off the pages because they definitely felt real. Code of Honor also gives is glimpses of past characters whom I love, specifically Quinn and Dan owners of Cipher, and my favorite couple, second only to their beloved other half. Code of Honor is all funny and sexy and sweet, emotionally poignant and thought provoking as well. I adore it!

Fierce Honor

I adored this story! The mystery and the depth of the characters provided a rich background to a delightful love story. Darius + Anna practically crackled on the page. April White brilliantly wove a tale of two strong people who still had room to grow. I highly recommend this book.

I read this before I tracked in goodreads. Hoopla remembered I finished it. Even if I don’t remember. Was it good? Enough to listen to the whole thing.
