I MARKED YOU. YOU BELONG TO ME.

Nash

I’ve survived suicide missions in war zones. Shifter prison labs. The worst torture imaginable. Nothing knocked me off my feet... until the beautiful lioness they threw in my cage. We shared one night before our captors ripped us apart.

Now I’m free, and my lion is going insane. He’ll destroy me from the inside out if I don’t find my mate.

I don’t know who she is. I don’t know where she lives. All I have is a video of her. But I’ll die if I don’t find her, and make her mine.

I’m coming for you, Denali.

Denali
They took me from my home, they killed my pride, they locked me up and forced me to breed. They took everything from me and still I survived.

But one night with a lion shifter destroyed me. Nash took the one thing my captors couldn’t touch — my heart.

Somehow I escaped, and live in fear that they will come for me. It’s killing my lioness, but I’ve got to hide — even from Nash. I’ve got to protect the one thing I have left to lose.

Our cub.

I knew this 7th instalment in the Bad Boy Alpha series was going to be awesome! This is my favourite book in the series so far... and I owe it all to the tortured hero; Nash! My heart bled for him while he struggled through his ptsd to try and make himself somewhat whole again.. He tried so hard to stay away from his mate... even at the expense of his own health. He felt he was too broken to be around Denali.

Denali, who was Nash’s mate, had something she was hiding from Nash... and it was a doozy!! Once her secret was revealed, Nash’s life never was the same again.

I loved that there was more story than just the focus on sex in this book. That’s not to say there was no sex...( there was and it was HOT!!) but there was so much MORE in this book!
This series is broken wide open now, and luckily it looks like we will get a lot more stories about my favourite shifters!
I highly recommend this series, it is one of the better shifter series out there right now!

ARC BOOK REVIEW
Release Date-8/5/18

So when I first started "Alpha's War" I must admit I wasn't quite convinced initially of the writing style.
But after I'd got used to the story flow used here; this actually grew on me and it wasn't long before I was emotionally connected and invested in this interesting story and also the overall character dynamic established between Nash and Denali.
So this is a kind of backwards love story; starting after Nash and Denali are thrust together at the data x lab.
Their one-time encounter resulted in Denali being mate marked and bred and after her escape and time on the run, she has finally settled and is trying to build a life for herself and their young cub Nolan.
Nash after his rescue and the burning of the Data x labs is trying to suppress and feed his lion with his fighting in the Pit.
His nickname "King of the Beasts".
But after this Alphas lost Mate is finally located; Nash knows that despite his demons he needs to go to her and finish off what they started way back there in the lab.
So Nash was a super dominant Lion shifter with a penchant for a bit of rough and tumble in the bedroom department.
An ex-soldier and skilled fighter he oozes testosterone, dominance and aggression both in and out the bedroom.
Because of his unconventional upbringing parenting scares the bejesus out of this big bad shifter.
Denali is an absolute sweetheart; more than a match for the troubled Carter.
Super protective over there little lion cub,
A fantastic mother with an inner fierce lioness that has already laid claim to its mate.
Also, Denali's human side wants nothing more than to share her load of responsibility with her mate Carter.
Together this pair's chemistry was super hot and the emotion between these two leapt off the page with its overall sincerity.
This was action packed with some fantastic secondary characters.
Told in dual POV and even though one of a series can easily be read as a stand-alone.
This overall was a great read that I'm happy to recommend.
Thank You to the Author for providing me with an ARC of "Alpha's War (Bad Boy Alphas, #7) " of which I have reviewed voluntary.
All opinions expressed are entirely my own.

Finally, we get Nash's story! This book is part of an ongoing series by authors Renee Rose and Lee Savino. It can be read as a stand-alone story, however I recommend that you read the stories in order. Especially since the big fight at the end featured all of the couples from the previous stories coming to help Nash and Denali.
Great story with plenty of steamy scenes, these two lion shifters certainly deserve their HEA after everything they've been through!

One of the best

Best one in the series. Nash’s story is heartbreaking and it was great to get his story. Denali was fierce and I liked her! Again more story then spanking is a winning combination. Glad I read the series and didn’t stop.

My favorite of the series so far.
I loved Nash's appearance in the other books in this series and knew his story would be one of the most heart-wrenching and it sure was. Nash has been broken twice: one by his experiences as a soldier in Afghanistan, and a second time by the evil Dr Smyth and his legions as they experimented on Nash and his lion to produce a "master race."
While in captivity, Nash was bred to Denali, a lioness whose pride in NOLA was slaughtered by Smyth's minions. Denali escaped before Nash and is suffering a major case of survivor's guilt. Nash is just suffering.
This sort of healing story is exactly what I love reading and this author does it so well. Nash and Denali both make mistakes as they try to fit into each other's lives. Their struggle makes the HEA all the more satisfying. I also liked seeing Nash find his very unorthodox "pride."
I love this whole series but this book is very special. Highly recommended.

Edge of your seat thrill ride of a romantic adventure filled with danger, secrets, longing, passion, heartbreak and hard tugs on the heart strings.... Loved every breath taking twist.

Nash and Denali are prisoners in a evil experiment lab when they are thrown together for one night. Both of their worlds are turned upside down and inside out by this encounter and after they escape separately things just get more dangerous. Could not get enough of this highly entertaining journey.

This was one of the good ones of the series. I enjoyed how the authors brought in a third person into this mate equation: the son. Considering the circumstances they mated in, I think it was a good twist to have her gotten pregnant during the time there. As much as I love the wolves, it is also fun when the authors bring in a different type of shifter. This one didn’t have a lion and another animal, wolf, or even human; it had both them as lions. Enjoyable read over all.

Oh. My. Gawd! I absolutely am loving the paranormal/shifter romances this year. They never cease to surprise me, not matter which one i've picked up so far. And by far, the collaborations between Renee Rose and Lee Savino - perfect! There was so much good things about this book, that i took a four hour story and cut it down to roughly an hour and a half, two hours just because i wanted to keep it lasting longer than it should.

I haven't read every single book there is to this series. Truthfully, i've only read the previous book before getting my hands on Alpha's War, and quite honestly, if it weren't for my morbid curiosity on finding out what really happened in the past books, i wouldn't really find myself needing to go back in time and getting the history between these shifters. There's a main story line - that of Data X and the grossly inhumane experiments they did on the shifters, the story about the elusive Agent Charlie, and then there's the main story of the book between two individuals who fall in love amidst all the broken hearts, spirits and the fact that they need to find themselves once again.

There are too many good things i can say about this book - from the engaging story line, the chemistry that exists between the characters, the suspense, and the fact that these authors managed to create a storyline that is not only captivating, but it makes sense. Sure it's paranormal, and probably not every one's cup of tea, but what i found surprising was the fact that the shifting part wasn't the main aspect of the book. I believe i can remember two instances where the characters shift to their animal counterparts - but they concentrated on the fact that the characters are human through and through with human emotions.

I can't wait to get more from these two - to be able to go back and read the series from the beginning and especially to find out more about this storyline. Will we get more from the Bad Alpha Dad's series? I'm hoping so because it's quite the page turner in the end.

I received this book for free from L. Woods PR in exchange for an honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.

Paranormal Romance.

Dual-POV.

Book #7 of Bad Boy Alphas.

Addictiveness: Highly addictive. It was a steamy read that can easily be read in one sitting.
Character: hero 5/5, heroine 5/5, secondary characters 5/5, growth 5/5, real 5/5 I love all couples of this series. Nash was mouth-watering, scorching-hot type of guy. He was so intense, bossy and hot. He was tortured and had suffered a lot. He believed his lion was crazy and could harm innocents, he was holding by a thread, until he got a mate and started  to live to protect her. Denali was a great heroine. Really kick-ass material. She escaped the lab saving herself and her cub. Then she managed to stay under their radar for three years, while making a life for herself and her son. She is sexy lioness. I love all secondary characters from old books and I have added Nash's pack and Agent Dune to my list. In fact, Nash's pack is wonderful! :)
Cover: art 5/5, title 5/5, subtitle 5/5, color-font 5/5, buy 5/5 I'm obsessed with book covers. I love to find snippets of the stories within the art. This one is perfect! The guy with the chain is hot and definitely a good bet for Nash, the frame effect could also be a lookout for a cage, the title very pertinent to the plot and the colors/font add charm to everything else. I would easily buy this book without reading the blurb.
Freshness:  This is unique. The entire concept created by the authors for the plot of the series feels fresh.
Plot: believable 5/5, conflict 5/5, dialogue 5/5, ending 5/5, enjoyment 5/5, opening 5/5, pace 5/5, setting 5/5, subplots 5/5, twists 5/5  Great opening and wonderful ending.  Amazing  conflict and dialogues written by wordsmiths . Fast-paced with enough heat  made it really enjoyable. I love the duality of Agent Dune's character. I can't wait for him to get his own book. I love the scenes that have all characters together. These characters are the strength of this series and their journey is what make the readers go back to read one more book.
Romance: believable 5/5, chemistry 5/5, description 5/5, development 5/5, steam 5/5 Yes! This was a sexy ride. :) I'm serious, NASH may be the hottest of all the "beasts"of this series. Nash and Denali together were explosive. Their scenes were cold-shower, squirm-in-the-seat, type of smut. The way they felt each other through the mating bond was beautiful. The care Denali had to be certain they were a true mating pair, made all sense. Nolan is  cutest  reward of their love story.
Writing Style: Fantastic characters, superb plot and sexy romance. What else could I want?

NOTHING!!!

I have to say Ms. Rose and Ms. Savino together are dynamite and matches. Their books are explosive, their shifters are unique and the sexy scenes are a bonfire. If you like sexy paranormal, this is a MUST!!!!

34.5/35 STARS –  5 STARS (between 33.5 stars and 35 stars)

Addictiveness: 5 Character: 5  Cover: 5  Freshness: 4.5  Plot: 5  Romance: 5 Writing Style: 5

Action 5/5
Angst 2.5/5
Darkness 0/5
Humor 3/5
Romance 5/5
Suspense/Mystery 3/5
Would I recommend? Yes. A must read for everyone that likes sexy paranormal romance.
Would I re-read this book? YES!
Would I re-read this series? Sure.
Would I read more from the author? They are on top of my list!!!

You MAY read this because you like the author; you SHOULD read this because you followed the series; you MUST read this because you are a fan of shifter romance!!!

NASH IS MY MATE. OUR ANIMALS HAVE CHOSEN. THE REST, WE’LL FIGURE OUT.

A delicious conclusion to the overarching story of this series. I think this book is tied with the third one as my favorite book of the series.

Ohmygod, ohmygod, ohmygod.
I freakin' loved this book, and this series. Lee Savino and Renee Rose are the Lennon and McCartney of this genre.
Seriously.
Their ability to weave a tale, invest the reader and keep him/her hooked until the satisfying end is incredible. I laughed, cried (big, fat tears), and cheered while reading this story in one sitting. Oh, and have I mentioned the sex scenes? Dayum.
I loved the main characters, Nash and Denali, but I also love that the H/h from previous books in the series reappear, and we get to catch up with what's happening with them.
I'm already so excited for the next book!

I really enjoy this series and was thrilled when I found out Nash was getting a story!

It was everything I could want. I loved both Nash and Denali. Except for fighting, Nash has been afraid to let his lion out. He is taking longer and longer to heal and believes his end will be upon him soon...and then he gets an address that could change everything.

Denali escaped soon after being mark mated with Nash. The guilt of not going back and rescuing him has hung heavily on her shoulders, but she has something else that she needs to protect at all costs.

I love the pride that is finally created with this story.

This is one of the best endings to a series and it wraps everything up nicely. Both Nash and Denali have been to hell and back but their lions can't live without each other. Each has been hurt by others and by each other but Nash feels really back for hurting her and regrets. When something both Nash and Denali love is taken from them, the gang all gets together to help save him. Will Nash and Denali ever get their past settled so they can be free in their futures? And will the bad guys win? Get the book and find out!

Most heartbreak book in this series

Each and everyone of these books has its own heartache, torture, abuse. They also have forgiveness, healing love, family and finding that one person (mate) that completes and heals you. This book is no exception to those phrases but what this book has also, is a war hero not only overcoming ptsd but years of torture, abuse and experimentation at the hands of sadistic AF people! Yes this is a shifter book, yes it has continued characters from all the other stories and yes it has a Hea! It also has the underlying cause of acceptance of who you are no matter race or beliefs or traumas you've went through.
Excellent book one of my favorites in this series so far!
3.5 stars free with ku. Read in order just so you can follow the storyline and not miss how each character find their mate and overcome their own trials to happiness!

This book took me a while to get into, I think because Nadh is just so haunted and self-loathing. But when he finally embraced his Alpha position, it was game on. Denali is a bad ass and I loved her character!
It was also nice to see many of the characters from the previous Alpha books show up at the end.

Bad Boy Alphas, Book 7. Lion and tigers and bears...and wolves, even owls? Oh my!

Can you survive a broken and out-of-control lion clawing its way from the inside out? Nash lives with that terror every day. Surviving Afghanistan? No cake walk for sure but he did it. Data-X? Those horrors nearly destroyed him. Then fate literally threw Denali in his path. One night...that's all it took. In the blink of an eye, Nash and Denali's lives were forever changed. And then she was gone. If Nash thought he'd known hell before, he was oh, so very wrong! Escaping Data-X was Denali's salvation, and her undoing. She left part of her soul behind. When Data-X and its unspeakable horrors are finally destroyed, and Nash too is freed, his torment lives on. He knows one thing. Denali is his. Five long years pass. Denali's never forgotten Data-X, the good and the bad. But she's built a new life. That has to be enough, right? Nash fights his broken lion who's filled with violence and rage. Then fate again intervenes, and Nash and Denali are reunited. Can this be a second chance? Or is this the worst idea ever conceived? When the past roars into the present, everything...family, friends, Denali and Nash's very existence...is on the line. But secrets abound. Nothing is as it seems. New discoveries, hidden enemies, unknown allies, and covert agendas lurk around every corner. When the ultimate betrayal splinters Nash and Denali's very souls, can anything make this right? Is this the utter destruction both always knew would come? There's one infinitesimal hope. But what price will have to be paid? And will it be worth it?

Renee Rose and Lee Savino have done it again. This series just keeps getting better with every book. This story is filled with off-the-charts chills, thrills, unpredictability, steamy sexiness, and the most unexpected ending yet. Denali is absolutely wonderful! The very personification of a lioness, she guards those she loves with a fierceness and loyalty that's inspirational. Yet despite everything she's endured, she still finds joy in the simplest pleasures. Wildflowers, a sunny day, small kindnesses, a child's laugh...all bring joy to a haunted woman. She's endured, survived, yet still finds a way to thrive. She's more than beautiful. She's stunning! And Nash? He has every reason for his bitterness and uncontrollable rage. But he's truly the king of the beasts. Even in his human form, despite his soul-deep torture, the hatred, evil, and depravity that have been rained down on him, Nash is incredible. These two are a study in contrasts that make this story as riveting as anything I've ever read. But this entire series wouldn't be as epic as it is without the supporting characters. Familiar faces from the past return. New characters emerge with the promise of even more to come. Parker, Declan, and Laurie alternately made me laugh out loud, hold my breath in fear, and cry my heart out. And what about Charlie? (If you want to know, you'll have to read the book. Charlie's a conundrum you'll have to experience for yourself!) Renee Rose and Lee Savino are authors extraordinaire, and they DO NOT disappoint. Congratulations, Ms. Rose and Ms. Savino! Alpha's War is a paranormal romance lover's dream come true! It deserves nothing less than five stars!

A final note. This is an ADULT book. It contains explicit language and sexual scenes. If you don't enjoy this genre, this may not be the book for you. There are book synopses and reviews available on Goodreads and Amazon. Use these resources. DON'T LEAVE A NEGATIVE REVIEW WHEN YOU KNOW YOU WON'T ENJOY THE BOOK. It's not fair to the authors. They work hard to provide a quality work product. If you know you'll object to a book's subject matter before you buy it, you're doing yourself and the authors an extreme disservice.

Thanks for reading my review and happy reading!

This is by far the best book in the series so far!! Nash has a tortured past, and not just because of Data-X. Denali has been running since escaping Data-X, but finally found a spot to settle down with her (and Nash’s) son. But Nash doesn’t know about him, since he was held prisoner for longer. Once he’s out, he goes searching for his mate, and there’s a ton of well-deserved and memorable angst, and a lot of super heart-felt scenes!!

Love love love that Nash accepted the alpha role for the misfit shifters. It’s so sweet!!!

Wowsers this is one hot and steamy romance, with a decent story to boot

I've read a few of the Bad Boy Alpha books, which this links into though it can be read as a stand alone. I have enjoyed the books I have read so far, and wanted to continue with the story arch that runs in the background. One of the good things about the series is how different each story is. So whilst I knew to expect a well written story, I didn't know if it would be quite serious, light-hearted, full of angst or suspense.

The story involves one very messed up shifter, raised in a non-shifter environment so never knew his true roots, and a woman who will fight to protect her secret. Thrown into the mix are some shady bad guys who Nash and Denali have escaped from once, a secret agent with his own agenda and some scorching hot chemistry.

I really enjoyed Nash and Denali's story with it's angst, personal growth, suspense, banter, crazy supporting characters and smoking hot chemistry. Boy was this book steamy, yet unlike some books I didn't find the scenes excessive or too much. They helped build the intensity of the book and really showed the connection between Denali and Nash.

Nash's struggles were so well portrayed and my heart broke for him. I absolutely bought into the connection between him and Denali, I loved their dirty talk and Nash was so swoon-worthy in his adoration of her. Denali is an amazingly woman, retaining her strength and sense of self even as she submitted to her alpha mate. It was brilliant to see Declan, Laurie and Parker, those three make me laugh so much and I hope we see more of them in future books. Charlie was an intriguing addition, I can't wait to read his story.

There is a lot of sex in the book, as well as bad language and very dirty talk. If those things are likely to offend then this book is best avoided. However if you love a well written book with a dirty talking alpha, a woman who can stand up to him and a good plot then this is for you.

Compelling, emotive, outstanding read; pure eloquence and stuningly HOT! I could not put it down!
It is 3 AM and I just finished “ALPHA’S WAR”. I could not let a minute pass without recording my reactions in this review, and yet there are no words . . .
Gripping – “ALPHA’S WAR” took hold of my emotions with the prologue. I remembered getting part of Nash’s story in other Alpha’s tales written by Rose and Savino and was excited about getting the whole story.
Fascinating – After reading the first couple of chapters to this amazing tale, I was more than curious as to how Nash was going to climb out of his emotional dungeon and be the Mate that Nolan and Denali needed. I could not believe how . . . but he did, and you will never guess the lengths he went to, to keep them safe.
Captivating – I was sucked so far into “ALPHA’S WAR” that the sound of a lone motorcycle had me jumping out of bed at attention. I had a good laugh when realizing that real life and book life had intermingled. Yet that gritty edginess that permeates “ALPHA’S WAR” and so captivated me remains . . . as a wisp, on the surface, just sitting there . . .
Bottom line is this. “ALPHA’S WAR” is the kind of story that will grab you by the throat, with the emotion and empathy of one who can only read while the protective, nurturing and fight-or-flight buttons get pushed by the eloquence that only the writing team of Rose and Savino can give. So, readers, get ready to ride the roller-coaster of “ALPHA’S WAR”; where the thrills, chills, and suspense lead to an amazingly happy ending. But be forewarned, reader-grief may follow. “ALPHA’S WAR” is that good, its characters that real. I was given an ARC copy of “ALPHA’S WAR” to prepare this honest voluntary review. This reviewer is giving “ALPHA’S WAR” a five-star rating – only because I cannot give it more. A MUST-READ and the perfect gift for Mother’s Day get your copy of “ALPHA’S WAR”, TODAY! Happy pages. 😉

When authors can tap into the pain and betrayal a person would feel in a situation honestly enough to dredge up buried memories I know I have found a winner. That is exactly what this book did for me. Nash is broken, almost shattered, by his experience at Data-X. Even more so than the other shifters, which is saying a lot, because he volunteered. He went to them thinking they could help him and all they did was torture and abuse him. The feelings of betrayal in a situation like that can leave scars deeper than if you never had any choice at all. This pain is something that struck me in a way that made me actually have to put the book down for a day or two before I could dive back in. I don't say this to give the impression that there are triggers, there aren't, it is just that emotional of a story. Nash is tough, a killer, and a brute, but that is how he keeps the pieces of himself together. Then there is Denali. She has gone on with her life, trying to ignore the pain of her past, raising a little boy who is the only bright spot from that horrible place. Her loving and giving nature is exactly what Nash needs, but it won't come easy. This is their story. The one that starts them both on the road to recovery from the past that haunts them. It is beautiful, sexy, and touched my heart more deeply than any other book in this wonderful series. And, while many questions were answered, there are still a few remaining that keep me hopeful that we aren't done with the Data-X refugees.
Everything about this one was perfect! The characters, the pace, the amount of passion, and the ending that made my heart sing. I loved every second of it, including the ones that broke my heart, and I can't wait for the next one.

I've been waiting for this since their first encounter!

Ever since that one night in the cage at the "testing facility" Nash and Denali have been in the back of my mind. I was frustrated that they were apart, happy that she escaped and satisfied that Nash got at least some revenge when he destroyed those hell-houses.

But there were so many open questions. Now, finally, we get answers.
Nash is in bad shape. All he can do to keep his lion in check, is fight almost every night in an underground shifter cage-fighting venture managed by his motley band of shifters.
But no amount of fighting can obscure the fact that he is nearing the breaking point of his tether.
So, his pack mates take it upon themselves to go in search of his lioness, suspecting that she is the only one that can save him.
Nash is desperately longing for his mate, but on the other hand trying to stay away from her to keep from endangering her.

Meanwhile Denali is trying to stay as low as possible under the radar to keep herself and her secret safe.
When they finally do meet again, secrets come to light and events unfold that were inevitable.
The bittersweet reunion of the King of the lions and his Queen is a hot and emotional roller coaster.
And when all seems to fall apart again, disaster strikes. But this time it leads to a show of strength and unity.

The final battle is epic and my not so secret revenge fantasies were finally satisfied.
I do hope the two ladies that brought us this fascinating series, will reconsider and come up with more stories of the ex-lab-rats.
I for one would appreciate it!!!
